“I would love to share the name of a payroll company that I am now using. Payroll Maxx based in Nebraska. I was with another payroll company and was so frustrated with their lack of good customer service. And when the economy started to dive, I was looking for ways to save, without sacrificing my business needs. The other payroll company seemed steep in their monthly fees so I decided to try out Payroll Maxx.

I started with them in July (easy time to do a smooth changeover), and I couldn't be happier. Although I've never met my payroll specialist, I feel like I know her. Their rates are much better, I never wait more than half a day (most times it's within an hour) for a phone or email response and their reports are well designed and easy to read. You can easily check out the company's reputation as I did.

I HIGHLY recommend this company. I am no longer frustrated with the issues that seemed to arise with the other payroll company (constant turnover of reps, days before I'd receive a call back, high monthly fees).”

To whom it may concern:

We are a franchise of the IHOP Corporation located in South Texas. We have a total of 13 IHOP’s. After 6 months I was promoted into the office where I took over the payroll for an additional 4 IHOP stores. In the beginning we were using Intuit, but they were bought out by ADP. We used ADP for about a year after Intuit. We started researching other companies that could do payroll for us because we weren’t getting the level of service we were expecting from ADP. One of our supervisors found Payroll Maxx and switched a few of his stores over to them. It wasn’t long after that we switched all of our stores over to Payroll Maxx.

Payroll Maxx made the transition very smooth. You have one person who is assigned as your payroll specialist. No longer do we have to be transferred to some random customer service representative to ask questions. You just call your payroll specialist directly. They also take care of all the reporting, garnishments, and benefit deductions for you as well.

I know I can pick up the phone anytime I need to speak with John La Fever directly on any questions or concerns I may have, and I’ve done that several times. What other payroll company is there where you can pick up the phone and call one of the partners? I feel that Payroll Maxx goes above and beyond taking care of our needs. They offer a variety of ways to submit your payroll and give you access to your payroll at your own fingertips through their Evolution program. The switch to Payroll Maxx has been not only an easy one, but a smart one. I recommend Payroll Maxx for any small or large company that is looking for a payroll company in which all your needs as a company are taken into consideration and met.

We certainly love them. They make processing a payroll much easier than any other payroll company I’ve worked with.

As we, at Carolina Family Eye Care sought to improve our outsourced payroll services a few months ago, we came across Payroll Maxx through extensive research and through well-thought out quoting process. Our goal was to find the best tailored payroll services possible, at affordable pricing.

"I took over the payroll department in June of 2003. During this time, the accounting supervisor was looking over several options for the payroll process. It was decided to go with Payroll Maxx starting in January of 2004. We have been with them ever since.

I like that we are assigned a "payroll specialist" to call for our account as then they become familiar with your payroll and any "odd things" that might occur throughout the year. Their program is fairly easy to use and understand and they are always updating the programs, making it better. They are always open to suggestions, whether it involves how the program works, or reports that might be useful.

It is my pleasure to offer this letter to Payroll Maxx as a reflection of the payroll processing and tax filing service you have provided Landscapes Golf Group for the past four-plus years.

Prior to signing with Payroll Maxx in December 2005, we contracted with another payroll provider to provide our payroll processing and payroll tax filing duties. After meeting with the folks from Payroll Maxx we were sold on their competitive pricing, reporting capabilities, the fact that they were located in Omaha, NE and finally their dedication to customer service and really meeting the needs of their clients.

Once the contract was signed, the transition was pretty seamless and virtually stress-free for all of our facilities. Payroll Maxx offered hands on training both onsite and via teleconference and everything came online accurately as promised.

We are currently using Payroll Maxx to provide payroll services for 15 of our golf courses and related entities spread out over 9 states. We count on Payroll Maxx to file all state and federal payroll tax reports and to handle the preparation and distribution of our year end W-2's.

John: Just wanted to take a minute to tell you I am so happy we switched from ADP to Payroll Maxx!! As you know, we were only with ADP a short time, and it was a disaster. As I told you, I think they were just too big to be flexible with a company of our size and experience. And just starting out, we needed hand-holding and flexibility. Fortunately, we found Payroll Maxx.

I also wanted to tell you, the main reason we contacted you again once we decided to leave ADP was your comment to me when I called you to say we were going with ADP after the bid process. We initially bid four payroll companies. When I contacted each company to say we had chosen ADP, they were curt to the point of rudeness. You, on the other hand, said that you were sorry to hear that we had gone with ADP, but you enjoyed getting to know us. You also said that if I found ADP did not meet my needs, be sure to call you. And the rest, as they say, is history.
